Delete your account

You can delete your AnnouPale and Pale account at any time. Here is how, and what happens to your data.

Delete in the app (fastest)

While signed in, open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This permanently deactivates your account and removes or anonymizes your personal information, subject to the retention exceptions below. No fee, and you do not need to contact us.

If you cannot sign in

If you have lost access to your account, email privacy@annoupale.com from the email or with the phone number on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm your identity before deleting an account to protect you from unauthorized deletion.

Do not include passwords or verification codes in your message.

What is deleted, and what we keep

When you delete your account we remove or anonymize your information — including your profile, messages, posts, and media — within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited data:

To comply with legal obligations;
For safety, security, and fraud prevention;
Where content was shared with others who have not deleted it.
