You can delete your AnnouPale and Pale account at any time. Here is how, and what happens to your data.

If you are signed in
The fastest way to delete your account is from your account settings while signed in. This permanently deactivates your account and removes or anonymizes your personal information, subject to the retention exceptions below.
If you cannot sign in
If you have lost access to your account, submit a verified deletion request and we will help. We confirm your identity before deleting an account to protect you from unauthorized deletion.
Identity verification
Before we delete an account we verify that the request comes from the account owner — for example, by confirming control of the phone number or email on the account. Do not include passwords or verification codes in your request.
Retention exceptions
When you delete your account we remove or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited data:
- To comply with legal obligations;
- For safety, security, and fraud prevention;
- Where content was shared with others who have not deleted it.
