Account

How do I create an account?

Go to annoupale.com/signup, enter your phone number or email, and complete verification. Once verified, set up your profile and you are in the community.

I lost access to my phone number. What do I do?

Contact support@annoupale.com as soon as possible β€” before your account becomes inaccessible. Include your handle and we will help you recover access through an alternative method.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings β†’ Account β†’ Delete account. Your account will be deactivated immediately. Public posts and personal data are removed within 30 days.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Go to annoupale.com/forgot-password and enter your email address. We will send a reset link. Links expire after a short window.

Privacy

Is my phone number visible to other users?

No. Your phone number is never displayed publicly or shared with other users. See our Privacy & Security page for the full list of what we do and never do with your contact information.

Can I make my profile private?

Yes. Go to Settings β†’ Privacy β†’ Profile visibility and choose followers-only or private. Private accounts require you to approve follower requests.

How do I turn off discoverability?

Go to Settings β†’ Privacy and disable "Allow others to find me by phone or email."

Posting and content

Who can see my posts?

By default, posts are public β€” anyone on AnnouPale can see them. You can change who can comment on individual posts, and you can set your entire profile to private in your settings.

Can I edit or delete a post?

Yes. Tap or click the menu on any of your posts to edit or delete it. Deleted posts are removed immediately.

Why was my post removed?

Posts are removed when they violate our community guidelines. You will receive a notification with the reason. If you believe it was removed in error, you can appeal by contacting support@annoupale.com.

Messaging (Pale)

Who can send me a direct message?

By default, people you follow can send you messages. You can adjust who can message you in Settings β†’ Privacy β†’ Messages.

Are my messages private?

Yes. Direct messages via Pale are private. We do not read them, use them for advertising, or share them with third parties. See our Trust & Safety page for the full details.

Reporting and moderation

How do I report a post or account?

Tap the three-dot menu on any post or profile and select "Report." Choose the reason and submit. Our moderation team reviews every report.

How do I block someone?

Visit their profile and tap the three-dot menu, then select "Block." They will not be notified, and they will no longer be able to see your content or contact you.

How long does moderation take?

Serious reports β€” harassment, impersonation, violent content β€” are reviewed by real people. We aim to act on serious reports quickly. Less severe reports may take longer.
