From signup to community in a few minutes.
AnnouPale is a social platform built around real people, real culture, and real respect. Here is exactly how it works.
Last updated: April 28, 2026
1. Create your account
Sign up with a phone number or email address. We verify your contact information to confirm you are a real person β this keeps the community safe from fake accounts and impersonation. We explain exactly what we do with your contact info on our verification page.
2. Build your profile
Choose a handle, add a display name, write a short bio, and pick your interests. Your profile is public by default β people can find you and follow your posts. Your phone number is never displayed publicly.
3. Follow and be followed
Follow people you know, creators you respect, and topics that matter to you. Your personal feed shows posts from the people you follow. The Explore tab surfaces trending content and new voices from the broader community.
4. Post and reply
Share text posts, images, and links. Reply to posts, react, and start threads. Your posts appear in your followers' feeds and on your public profile. You control who can comment on your posts via your privacy settings.
5. Connect privately via Pale
Pale is AnnouPale's private conversation layer. When a post or comment sparks a conversation that deserves more privacy, you can continue it in a direct message. Messages are private β we do not read them, and we do not use them for ad targeting.
6. Moderation and reporting
If you see something that violates our community guidelines, report it. Real people β not only automated systems β review serious reports. You can also block or mute accounts at any time without notifying them.
What it costs
AnnouPale is free to join and use. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but the core community experience β posting, following, and messaging β will remain free.
